Precise measurement

Maximum precision and reliability are guaranteed by the use of ZEISS optics. Every measurement is evaluated with physical correctness — dispersion correction, automatic recognition of optical harmonics as artifacts, and permanent validation of dark current and reference. Sensitivity adjusts automatically; every single measurement gets its own quality rating via signal-to-noise ratio.

Complete analysis

ProCoat3 automatically identifies the right distribution, calculates Cp/Cpk, and plots the trend as a Shewhart control chart — with an automatic alarm the moment a process drifts out of statistical control. Every measurement is stored automatically in the central database — searchable, filterable, and exportable to Excel or CSV whenever you need it.

Every change to security-relevant data is logged directly at the database level — not only within the application. Granular user permissions, secure login, and a fully versioned database history meet the traceability requirements of IATF-16949.

Automatic quality check

Not every additional peak is a defect

ProCoat3 automatically detects when a signal in the spectrum doesn't match the expected layer structure — and reliably distinguishes between real artifacts and optical harmonics (multiple reflections within a single layer). In this real measurement, an additional peak is detected but deliberately not auto-assigned — so no one has to blindly trust a software decision that could just as easily be wrong.
